Pentecost Dodderidge

Pentecost Dodderidge (died c 1650) was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1621 to 1625.

Dodderidge was the son of Richard Doddridge, merchant, of Barnstaple. He was mayor of Barstaple in 1611.[1] In 1621, he was elected Member of Parliament for Barnstaple. He was re-elected MP for Barnstaple in 1624 and 1625.[2] In 1627 he was mayor of Barnstaple again. He inherited the estate at Bremridge on the death of his brother Sir John Doddridge in 1628. In 1637 he was mayor of Barnstaple again.[1]

Dodderidge died in about 1650.[1]

Dodderidge married Elizabeth Wescombe of Barnstaple on 12 February 1599. His son John was also an MP.
